The Detonators

Before Rock, there was Rockabilly, Blues and Rhythm n’ Blues. The Detonators, through their original songs, recreate the styles that made the mid to late 50s such a vital time in music’s history. They play an era, not simply a genre.

The quartet’s original blend of blazing jump-rock blues is infused with the driving energy inherent in their heros’ music. Chuck Berry, Little Walter and Hound Dog Taylor are some of the influences that give this band their distinctive sound.
